Electronic certificate

The Spanish public administration offers a wide range of procedures that can be carried out efficiently through electronic channels. It is a great tool that will allow us to save time and money by carrying out several administrative tasks directly from home, without the need to book an appointment with the corresponding public office.

For this to be possible, it is needed to request the Electronic Certificate from the Social Security, which will then allow us to access a secure identification platform verified by the Spanish government channels.

Once the Electronic Certificate has been obtained, it will therefore be possible to carry out from the comfort of your PC several procedures as the annual tax return, payment of fines, requests to official government bodies, etc.

There is also an alternative: it is the Cl@ve system, very similar to the Electronic Certificate and therefore very useful. Often the two services are complementary. Having an electronic certificate is one of the requirements for accessing the Cl@ve system, which is why having both is an additional possibility to avoid queues and long waiting times in public offices.
